The purpose of this article is to explore the reality of family entrepreneurship in Algeria, through the study of a sample of family businesses in the region of Bejaia.
elements relating to the profile of the entrepreneur-owner as well as the profile and management of the family business were analyzed by means of a questionnaire survey.
the results established that the company is often made up of family capital, that the owner being the manager, associates the members of the family in the decisions, and that the family is very involved in the com.
however, the issue of the succession in the management and the control of the family business is not at all raised or even considered.
Abstract FRE
L'objet de cet article est d'explorer la réalité de l'entrepreneuriat familial en Algérie, et cela à travers l'étude d'un échantillon d'entreprises familiales dans la région de Bejaia.
des éléments relatifs au profil de l'entrepreneur-propriétaire ainsi qu'au profil et à la gestion de l'entreprise familiale ont été analysés par le recours à une enquête par questionnaire.
les résultats obtenus ont établi que l'entreprise est souvent constituée de capitaux familiaux, que le propriétaire étant le gérant, associe les membres de la famille aux décisions, et que la famille est très engagée dans l'entreprise.
toutefois, la problématique de la succession dans la direction et le contrôle de l'entreprise familiale n'est pas du tout posée ou même envisagée.
