Economic indicators are used to measure the performance of the various sectors of the economy, which are usually macro-economies, and are generally used to judge the strength or weakness of the economy, whether it is the global economy or the economy of a particular country, and they also help predict the future economic situation and investors rely on them.

when making their investment decisions in any country, therefore, they are the most important factors that stimulate or discourage investment, whether this investment is local or foreign, and economic and financial policy makers who are represented by governments depend on it as a basic reference in making their policies and programs and then making their decisions.

there are many important internal and external economic indicators that depend on in general, in our study, we will highlight the impact of the hydrocarbon sector on the external economic indicators of Algeria, namely the structure of exports, external indebtedness, balance of payments, and exchange reserves.
