This research paper aims to study the issue of the extent to which the Algerian banking system applies the decisions of Basel 3, which is an important mechanism for strengthening banking supervision in Algerian banks, so that the increasing trend of applying globalization and liberalizing financial markets leads to, inclusiveness by imposing the same economic and social pattern and generalizing it to include all, and therefore the globalization of the market in terms of production and consumption, and this is what has become at the top of the list of interests of all countries of the world.

that is why all the banks of the world sought to implement immediately the content of the decisions of the Basel 3 committee on oversight with the aim of highlighting the extent to which the banking system is keeping pace with these precautionary measures, especially after the mortgage crisis that ravaged the American economy and then the global economy this study concluded that the Algerian banking system, despite its partial and not total application of international developments, is still working to adapt to the decisions of Basel 3 through publications, regulations and regulatory laws, with the aim of fully and effectively establishing these international rules and to strengthen control over banks.
