The use of the computing in the modern lexicography has become an urgent necessity for anyone who wants to work in categorizing dictionaries.

It has imposed itself forcefully in the field of linguistic and lexical research, which has led to a radical transformation in the form of the lexicon, its making, and the mechanisms for its completion and preparation.

This research paper will shed light on the importance of using computer in the modern lexicography industry.

It is obsolete for the lexicographer to rely on those old methods in the completion of a linguistic dictionary or a specialized lexicon or other dictionaries at a time when advanced computers have become an effective and decisive tools at the level of storage, processing, arranging the entrances, or at the level of speed and proficiency, which saves the effort for those interested in the lexical field on the one hand, and reduces the burden on the researcher on the other hand.
