This research paper presents a distinct struggle experience in the history of the Algerian revolution, which is the eight-day strike of January 28-February 04, 1957, which was called for by the Coordination and Execution Committee, and this event came in a very important circumstance, as the National Liberation Front in particular and the Algerian revolution in general were in There is an urgent need for the support and assistance of the Algerian people in order to achieve its goals.

This study also aims to clarify the importance of this national strike in the history of the Algerian revolution in particular and the contemporary history of Algeria in general, as well as showing its repercussions on the French colonial policy and the Algerian revolution.
