One of the most important factors that prompted researchers and historians from different countries to pay attention to the Ottoman history that spanned about six centuries was the expansion of the area of the Ottoman Empire in the three continents of the world, Asia, Europe and Africa.

The current research focuses on the importance of Ottoman history, which passed through several stages, starting with the establishment of the emirate by Prince Othman I in the late thirteenth century AD, until its arrival as a central state after the expansion in the three continents of Asia, Europe and Africa, as its rule and existence extended until November 1922.

Thus, the Ottoman Empire gained great importance among historians and researchers from different countries, and this importance was represented by the wide geographical area of the Ottoman State, in terms of its inclusion of different peoples, nations and tribes.

The research shows that interest of scholars from different countries in the history of the Ottoman Empire has increased in recent decades.

Moreover, this interest is represented by the issuance of many books, research and scientific messages about the Ottoman Empire in different languages and various aspects, in addition to the establishment of research centers specialized in Ottoman history.

All this confirms the importance of Ottoman history.
