Abstract EN

This study aimed to know the role played by modern communication technologies in developing the preparation and presentation of television news on Sudan TV, by conducting a case study on news producers in the Department of News and Political Affairs at Sudan TV, and also aimed to identifying the extent of Sudanese TV benefited from these technologies and employing them to upgrade and develop programs, and news, as well as looking at the reality of the news bulletin on Sudan TV in light of the technical development and identifying the problems it suffers and providing what can contribute to solving them.

Focus on weak use of modern communication technologies in developed preparing and presentation of the newsletter.

The study raised a number of important questions, which it tried to answer.

The study used the descriptive analytical method in order to survey the practice methods, in addition to the standardized interview with those involved in the production of programs, and the study sample was selected through the comprehensive inventory method of the study community, which is the news producers of Sudan TV, and the study was carried out in two theoretical and practical frameworks.

The study concluded a number of results, the most important of which are: that Sudan TV has benefited greatly from communication technologies in the field of news, and the most important problems that television suffers from are not training working staff in the field of news to use modern technology and not maintain equipment’s periodically is one of the most important problems that television suffers from.

As well as the lack of use of visual aids in the newsletter, such as maps, pictures, graphics, and graphic forms.

In conclusion, the study indicated a number of recommendations, the most important of which are: The necessity of taking care of the news image as it is the main language of television news.

And that the news presentation needs new means of dazzling that depend on the capabilities of modern technology, such as: the virtual studio and the Graphics.

The news presentation also needs to give more vitality between the paragraphs and the attractive output that makes the viewers follow the show from its beginning to its end.
