The author enjoys a right that has two sides, one of them is literary and the other is financial.

The literary side is the essence of the copyright.

As for the financial side, it is built on the basis of the literary side, and there is only its existence, and this right is not permissible for others to exploit without obtaining the permission of its owner.

However, Copyright protection states restrictions on copyright in specific cases, in which people may use the copyrighted work without obtaining permission from the right holder; And since we are dealing with copyright within the scope of the international information network, which is characterized by universality, and the consequent advantages and disadvantages of such universality, this right, in its literary and financial aspects through this network, is attracted by absolute at times and restriction at other times, hence, the problem arises in the extent of the possibility of restricting the financial right For the author within the scope of the international information network in order to achieve the interest of society and cultural development, and therefore, does imposing such restrictions on the author’s financial right, reflect negatively on the literary right of the author, imposing restrictions on it, and in order to answer this problem, our research is divided into two sections, the first one deals with: the concept of The author›s literary right, and the second deals with the concept of the author›s financial right.

The research ended with a conclusion that included its most important results and recommendations.
