The protection of minority rights requires special attention to some important issues such as recognizing the existence of minorities and ensuring their right to non-discrimination and equality, while promoting the right to multicultural education at the national and local levels, and increasing the participation of minorities in all areas of life.

on the other hand, minorities around the world are often victims of internal and external armed conflicts (international and non-international) at several levels that necessitated immediate interventions from the international community, and such interventions must derive their legitimacy from the united nations charter and take into account the sovereignty of states and the spirit of the universal declaration of human rights in providing equality of dignity, rights and freedoms of individuals, in both peace and war.
