The research deals with the legal protection of artistic works, which means preventing others from exploiting those arts without the permission of their producers, and then this research sheds light on the aspects of protection for these works in terms of form and content in Qatari legislation no.

i adopted in this research the comparative method.

compare the Qatari legislation with Egyptian and french legislation to through the presentation of the record that i dealt with.

to achieve the legal enrichment of this research, the comparison was extended to the Anglo-American system in some research topics.

the aim of the study is to show the comparative shortcomings.

accordingly, the research under study is divided into two main sections, the first topic : the concept of the artistic work and the identification of those responsible for the attack on it, the second topic : the aspects of legal protection for artistic works through internet sites.

finally, the research under study concludes with a number of results.
