The studies of the Prophet’s narrations are among the important issues that had an attention of modern scholars, and among the aspects of their attention to it by studying it as a chain of transmitters and text, and to meet its narrations, and audit it in text and meaning, in order to understand and apply it in the best way, And among the most prominent of those Imam al-Qasttalani died : (923 AH-1517 AD), In his book Irshad al-Sari to explain Sahih al-Bukhari, as he took great care of it, enabling him to be a reference for those who came after him, as he met the narrations with each other, and wrote the distinctions between them, relying on the Greek version and its branches and other versions, word for word, letter by letter, chain transmission and text.

Until he became one of the most important reference in meeting and directing the prophetic narratives, and al-Qastalani was not just a transmission from others, and he did not stop at meeting the the : “And it is the right”, or “the narrations, but rather directed them mostly by saying most correct” indicating the reason for directing it at times, and refraining from mentioning it at other times, and he followed this way according to a specific method that he made for himself, so he first took care of the wording and clarification of its meaning, then proceeded to meet its’ narratives and its’ direction, relying on a number of rules, including: his reliance on the linguistic meaning of the words, and knowing their meaning from another prophetic text, so this research called (al-Qasttalani's guidance for the narratives of al-Jami al-Sahih in his book Irshad al-Sari) was a model for a theoretical and applied study.
