Abstract EN

Hysteron proteron (Moving a Word Forward or Placing It Backward) is considered one of the most important rhetorical field of researches.

Its role in speech conformity according to circumstances is not hidden, where what should have come last is moved forward, and what should have come first is placed backwards, taking into account the circumstances of the speaker, the addressee, and the context of the speech, In Qur’anic Texts, Hysteron Proteron is of great importance, as it is directly related to the meaning which requires what have been moved forward or placed backward depending on the goals, topics and contexts of the Surah in which it came in.

In this research, an explanation of the most important rhetorical purposes behind moving a verb forward before another or placing it backward.
