Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the aesthetics of the place in (Khadija’s Diwan) by the poet (Muhammad Jabir Al-Harbi), by addressing three axes: the dimensions of the place in Khadija’s Diwan, the aesthetics of closed spaces, and the aesthetics of open spaces.

The study, based on the descriptive-analytical approach, showed that the place is an essential element in the construction of the poem by Al-Harbi, which the poet employs in a special way that reflects his poetic vision of Arab reality in general, and the Saudi in particular.

The study revealed the relationship between the poet and the places he was associated with.

His relationship with places, both closed and open, was often characterized by anxiety, turmoil and fear of the unknown.
