Abstract EN

The psychological alienation represented in the man’s alienation and introversion from society is considered one of the most significant factors which cause schizophrenia because of introversion and loneliness and psychological emptiness.

Then, man resorts to himself and feels estranged from others around him.

Thus, as a poet, his poetry reflects these manifestations and through his poetry his most significant human characteristics and his personal nature emerge.

The research aims to study the psychological alienation in the poetry of the ancient poets to prove that their poetry reflects their intellectual life.

Additionally, their purposes are an objective equivalent to their self-tendency because the consequences of alienation are represented in the emotional and psychological status under which the poet undergoes such as anxiety, melancholy, depression, loneliness, psychological emptiness, and injustice of the time.

So, their poetry reflected their own experience related with their mood fluctuations of the satisfaction, dissatisfaction, hope and pain, stability and anxiety.
