Abstract EN

The research subject: Arab poetic discourse is subject to the dominant culture, which is governed by the prevailing societal and artistic value system.

Arab literature did not keep pace with the standards of authority in all its ages; however, departing from it has taken two different destinations, one of them was a partial exit with an evolutionary dimension, He expressed a fertile struggle between the old and the new, which led to fruitful results on the creative and artistic levels without completely disengaging from the aesthetics of the model and its norms, on the other side, it expressed social conflict, which resulted in a value deviation, tended to establish a counter culture that contradicts the community’s artistic and value system, this departing was departing of demolition and undermining.

The research aims to highlight the concept of counterculture and its manifestations in ancient Arabic poetry, and the motives that prompted poets to disrupt concepts and rebellion that lead to separation and dissonance with the culture of the group, and this departs from the concept of difference to contradiction, which tends to destructive the systemic values in which the group believes.

The research will depend on the mechanisms of cultural reading; To reveal the hidden patterns in the texts of the counterculture of some poets and look at them in the light of the culture that produced it, and benefit from the different methods of analysis and interpretation of the texts and the study of their historical background.

The research will answer these questions through the course of the study
