the attempt to write the history of mysticism’s interaction with the sea in the far Maghreb during the medival period leads us to focus more on the history that is not spoken of , or rather hidden in the sources concerned with political and military history, then deny claims promoted by the French colonial school stating that Moroccans are primarily peasants, who fear the sea and cannot sail it and exploit its goods also, monitor the aspects of the interaction of the saints with the sea imposed by the historical circumstance of the medievale era and the demands of society, where they represented a compelling component of the sea as a vast, unperdictable and aggressive space as mentioned in their texts about virtue.

The reasons varied to push some away and force others to settle by the coasts.
