Abstract EN

This study aims to evaluate the financial performance of Islamic banks, as well as to highlight the importance of evaluating financial performance.

this study was projected on the Algerian Salam bank during the period 2018-2020.

we used the two models of return on equity and the American banking standard to evaluate the financial performance of the bank, based on the annual reports of al Salam bank.

the study concluded that the bank achieves satisfactory performance and enjoys a sound financial position with problems under control, but it must develop its performance to improve its position.
