The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the two methods of teaching (command and reciprocal) and the differences between them in improving some physical variables of volleyball among students of the department of physical education at Hadramout university.

the results indicated that the two groups made progress in the results of the pre and posttests in improving some physical variables and in favor of the post tests, and there were no significant differences between the two groups in improving some physical variables in the tests.
