Abstract EN

The study aimed to diagnose the extent of achievement of concepts related to the changes of states of matter for students of the higher school of teachers in Kouba.

the study tool consisted of a test consisting of (15) questions distributed over three main areas, the test was applied to (130) students during the academic year 2022-2023.

the results showed that about (52.97%) of the students face difficulties in acquiring concepts related to the changes of states of matter.

it was also found that there are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) attributed to the university specialization variable, there are also statistically significant differences at the level of significance (α≤0.05) attributed to the gender variable.
