This research paper is a linguistic an textual reading of the last letter of the late Iraqi president Saddam Hussein.

through which, we seek to examine the coherence of the formed linguistic units of the structure of its text at the formal level, by tracing the tools of grammatical consistency, analyzing them in the light of textual linguistics, and demonstrating their effectiveness in the interconnection and cohesion of the parts of this message.

at the end of the research, it turned out that this message is a well-formed linguistic construct; this is thanks to the linguistic means available to it (allusion, substitution, deletion and connection) that connects its parts.
