Abstract EN

The present research paper aims to shed light on the terminological problem faced by modern researchers in the field of miraculous or the inimitability of the Qur’ān from the linguistic perspective.

this is represented in the lack of clarity of the features of the terms: “textual miracles”, “rhetorical miracles” and “linguistic miracles”, which led most of those who wrote on the subject to merge them under one title, which is “rhetorical miracles”, while others did not address the “linguistic miracles” at all.

given the originality of the first term and the abundance of authorship in it.

it was determined that the “linguistic miracles” is the most comprehensive approach to the Quranic discourse / text method.

following that, it is a modern linguistic study that approaches the Quranic discourse, delving into its depths in terms of phonetics, morphology, and composition, as well as monitoring the elements of high rhetoric and unique style through the rhetorical level.

thus, linguistics will be the general science of studying Quranic discourse.
