The research deals with knowledge of the ways in which learners acquire the types of literary texts, assimilation, storage and production from the point of view of cognitive linguistics.

investing in this knowledge contributes to suggesting alternative methods of teaching and learning texts.

among the findings of the research is the need to use, in proposing educational texts and methods of teaching them, the most important results produced by contemporary scientific studies and research that dealt with the phenomenon of mental and psychological processes associated with the ways in which texts are absorbed, stored and recalled, and the factors that help in that, especially in the field of customary linguistics and artificial intelligence.
