Abstract EN

This study aims to analyze the decrease in purchasing power in Algeria in general and in particular the decrease after resorting to a non-traditional monetary policy under law 10-17 by highlighting the relationship between them by using international examples and experiences, this analysis is based on changes in macroeconomic policy through the data set for the period before and after the adoption of non-traditional financing specified from 2010 to 2021.

the study concluded that the decline in purchasing power in Algeria was due to a range of reasons, so can not say for sur that the growing monetary mass in the economy is the only cause of this decrease but because of a combination of causes explained in the details of the study the main of its was petroleum revenues decrease.
