Abstract EN

This article aims to examine the capacity of the secondary determinants of power to (re)shape the map of power distribution in international system, particularly in the light of the growing US-Chinese competition.

we will draw on the IR neo-neo along with the constructivism to examine the aspects the transformation of power and its impact on the paths of the rise and fall to (re)shaping the international system.

through a number of exploratory sections: the increasing importance of the digital and high-tech power; climate engineering capabilities to combat the devastating effects of global warming; the impact of shifting towards digital currencies; bio-political variables; rare earth elements and supply chains.

the study concluded that the secondary determinants of power, under certain contexts, can have a significant correlation coefficient in (re)shaping and (re)distributing power so they exert a nonlinear influence on the international system.
