This article aims to measure the impact of some healthy human development indicators: life expectancy at birth, under-five mortality, infant mortality and health expenditure to gross domestic product, on demographic trends in Algeria measured by population increase, population age structure and fertility, where we used the canonical correlation methodology.

among the most important results reached, the indicators of healthy human development greatly affect the age structure of the population, while they have no effect on the trends in the total fertility rate, and life expectancy at birth is the most influential health indicator in demographic trends.
