Sustainable economic development is one of the topics that attracted the attention of researchers, and environmental formation is considered one of the main pillars that work to reduce waste from the source, and this research paper came to highlight the importance of environmental formation in reducing waste from the source through a statistical study on a sample consisting of a group of projects incubated at the level of the technology incubator in Sidi Abdallah, which number 40 holders of the project.

the study found the contribution of environmental formation in general in its two dimensions (manufacturing process control, good management) in reducing waste from the source, but after modifying the product, it had no effect in reducing waste.

accordingly, it can be said that the environmental formation provided by the technological incubators contributes effectively to reducing waste at the source level
