The obsession with exile constitutes one of the main themes in Edward Said's writings.

it is a sign of an authentic theme in terms of the necessity of what is needed, especially in his two books, out of place and beyond the last heaven, which are considered a form of narrative that depicted the subject of exile in a remembrance form that indicates a self-review of the path of suffering the pain of exile and stay away from the homeland and rooting for the need for a firm affiliation.

Edward said originates a biography that rejects the will to uproot and is motivated by the necessity of affirming the right of return and belonging.

it is the narrative of exile that made writing a haven for settlement.

it is writing that seeks to anticipate the loss of time by death after the loss of place by exile, and this study seeks to clarify it by providing a reading of exile in the writings of Edward said through his autobiography in his book out of place and in the collective biography of the Palestinian people in his book beyond after the last sky.
