The study aimed at learning about the habits, kinds and preferences of housewife’s listening to Tlemcen's radio, and in order to achieve this goal, the study relied on the quantitative approach and used questionnaire to know the habits of listening to local radio programs as well as the favourite radio programs of the housewife.

the sample aims to women who are listening to local radio programs consisting of 122 listeners ; we asked many questions about period of time of the listening, as well as the preferred and the favourite radio programs in an attempt to reveal the reasons for women's participation or non-participation in the radio programs, we have reached many results, the most important is that women prefer to listen in the morning while doing other activities, such as sewing or domestic work, and to a great extent prefer the local dialect of radio programs.

we also tried to reveal the history of Tlemcen's radio broadcast through this study.
