One of the most important topics dealt with by the constitutional law is the relationship between the legislative and executive authorities, as well as the extent of mutual influence between them.

in this article I will try to address how the legislative power affects the work of the executive branch in the new Algerian constitutional amendment of 2020.

so the relationship between the legislative and the executive powers is the basis of the state's government system, because through it the constitutional founder shows us the nature of the system and the balance of power.

legislative power is mainly dominated by executive oversight.

for this reason, we’ll show the executive control mechanisms over the legislative assembly in the Algerian constitution despite the Parliament strengthening by the constitutional amendment of 2020.
