Abstract EN

This research aims to find out the extent to which labor force participation rates are affected by employment policy by studying the most important factors affecting this rate in Algeria during the period 1980-2018, through familiarity with the theoretical aspect of employment policy and trying to build an econometric model using the autoregressive model(VAR), which concluded the research indicated that the size of the population is among the important determinants of the labor force participation rate in Algeria, and that the latter is affected by the long-term gross domestic product, which negatively affects the effectiveness of the employment policy in Algeria.
