The desert, as a novel space, was able to make for itself a place in the Algerian novelist text, due to its special attractiveness and charming captivating features.

it inspired novelists who made of it a mirror that reflects feelings, approaching its strangeness and weirdness.

and this space was used as a medium that conveys feelings and a template that prevents escape, and an aesthetic basis that dyes the text with a special aesthetic color.

in Timimoun's novel by Rachid Boudjedra, it deriving the desert spatial presence as a basis for its construction and the pillar of its structure.

it carried with it the contradictions of feelings and subjective senses that the writer established on it.

accordingly, we set the problem of research to show the importance of the desert space in carrying the narrative text artistically and aesthetically and the extent to which the text depends on it
