Like other curricula and research, structural criticism follows certain levels, trends, and rules and it considers the literary work as an independent, different, and distinct structure.

the literary creative work is in constant need for constructive criticism through reading, analysis, revealing the implicit patterns, and showing the rules and laws included in the form of spaces made by the author in order to facilitate their understanding by the recipient.

therefore, structuralism recognizes and believes that the literary phenomenon is a structure isolated from its causes and text's ambiguity in addition to everything that surrounds it.

structuralism, as well, seeks to dismantle, dissect and analyze it according to correct readings to its primary elements in order to clarify the concept that is intended to be communicated to the audience and the recipient in particular.
