Cinema has always been at the mercy of political power especially in the East, financial power especially in the West, and as a center of capital everywhere, and individual creativity in the twentieth century has suffered greatly from these two powers.

at the beginning of the twenty-first century, a digital revolution emerged that swept the various functions of cinema and its equipment, including cameras, photography and lighting equipment, as well as sound capture, editing equipment and techniques.

talking about montage, it was also touched by the digital revolution to move it from the old stereotype and the technical problems that were facing it, to the new generation of computer-based montage techniques, through the employment of montage programs, to form the basis in the new trend of the contemporary film industry.
