This article aims to examine the place occupied by the religious dimension in interpreting the history movement according to Ibn-Khaldun as a reference that this thinker who belongs to the circle of Islamic thought calls for.

in contrast to that it is a purely rational and realistic scientific vision.

in view of these different readings of khaldunian thought.

It is appropriate that we seek in this article to examine and analyze the different dimensions of this subject, according to the methods of analysis, criticism and comparison as for the result of this study, it is summarized that there is a religious influence in the interpretation of the movement of history according to ibn-Khaldun, and it is not inconsistent with the scientific rules from which he started in his analysis of this topic
