Older persons with disabilities face great challenges in order to enjoy human rights and fundamental freedoms on an equal basis with others, as the rights of this vulnerable group did not receive the same attention and protection as the rest of the groups at the level of international human rights law, which leads to treatment in various forms of discrimination, deprivation, neglect, exploitation, abuse and other forms of cruel treatment, and thus this article came to shed light on the challenges facing elderly people with disabilities imposed on them by the duality of old age and disability and their meeting in the same person, and searches for solutions that limit these transactions.
