The research topic addresses legal regulation of investment freedom within the new Algerian investment freedom law n° 22 / 18, which established freedom of investment in accordance with the 2020 constitutional amendment to increase Algeria’s competitiveness as an investment destination where all the elements of investment are available ; in comparison with the Omani legislation, which also underwent a series of legislative reforms between 2020 and 2021 to promote investment freedom, they are all legislations that are close in time and object with the goal of hastening the economic take-off process.
