Scientific research is of great importance to societies, as it is considered a way to achieve development, and it is considered one of the elements of the intellectual and cognitive development of any researcher, through which information is accessed within sound approaches that reflect the scientific level of the researcher, and it is taken for granted that researchers are characterized by scientific honesty, which falls within the framework of ethics that control their research.

This research aimed to highlight the standards of scientific research ethics in the field of documentary sciences, starting with the ethics of scientific research for the researcher, as well as the most important ethical standards that control research work, then addressing the most important forms and forms of breaching the ethics of scientific research, and finally reaching the most important means that limit scientific theft Through which we try to highlight the most important laws in force in Algeria to reduce scientific theft.
