The constitutional amendment of 2020 included various controls related to the dissolution of People's National Assembly, as it is one of the most dangerous mechanisms possessed by the executive authority in the face of the legislative authority, especially by obligating; the re-conducting of legislative elections within the specified time, preventing the delegation of the power of dissolution and the inability to dissolve in exceptional cases.

With what it stipulates of the necessity of strengthening constitutional guarantees to prevent abuse of the procedure of dissolving the People's National Assembly and the consequent disruption of parliamentary life.
