The current research aims to determine the level of post-traumatic growth among cancer patients and to identify differences in its levels according to surgical procedures and educational levels.

The study sample consisted of 150 male and female cancer patients in the university hospitals of Oran state.

To achieve the objectives of the current study, the descriptive method was used relying on the post-traumatic growth scale developed by Tedeschi (1996) and translated by Abu-Aisha (2017) and standardized on cancer patients in the Palestinian environment.

The results of the current study indicated a high level of posttraumatic growth among the sample of cancer patients, and no differences in the level of posttraumatic growth among cancer patients were found according to surgical procedures and educational levels
