This is the first field study in Algeria, which deals with this contemporary pattern of penal institutions, and which aims to identify the social perceptions of prisoners about the open environment pattern of reintegration, with the approval of the General Directorate of Prisons and Reintegration Administration, and as a model for that, the Open Environment Foundation Boukaaben Batna, on a sample of 30 imprisoned individuals, and the application of the study tool represented in the questionnaire, according to the descriptive approach, the results of which concluded that the social perceptions of the prisoners about the social reintegration programs that constitute the main focus of it, were high positive, as well as a predictive ability of social perceptions In the formation factor of the prisoners in their reintegration
