Abstract EN

This research aims to highlight the competitive advantage indices of public banks in Algeria, and analyzing the impact of the constraints of the legislative and financial environment on the sustainability of their competitive advantage.

the study concluded that the concentration of the banking public sector and its reputation are considered as very important resources for the competitive advantages contributing to the improvement of its performance indices, however, the obstacles of the regulatory environment have not allowed to maximize the results of the competitive advantages of the public banking sector.
