Abstract EN

The present study seeks to monitor the effectiveness of anthropological studies of a Western nature, in other words, what "others" have written about Maghreb societies and their appropriateness to serve as an interpretative framework for anthropological phenomena in the Maghreb region in general, and anthropological phenomena in Southern Algeria in particular.

the results of the study would be a confirmation of the role of anthropological studies and their explanations for these societies because they eventually created a new anthropology, the Moroccan anthropology, and an attempt to transcend the ideology attached to them in the colonial phase.
