After France extended its control over all parts of Algeria, it implemented a colonial policy that affected various fields, as the educational policy had a great impact on Algerian society, especially in its great south and southeast, through a set of decisions and legal decrees.

the southeastern region of the Algerian Sahara witnessed a colonial educational system represented in the various stages of primary, intermediate and secondary education, especially in the areas of Ouargla, Wadi Souf and Laghouat.

these areas witnessed the spread of French culture education and behind it the elimination of the elements and teaching of the Islamic religion through the activity of specialized missionaries who were hired by colonial France to completely eliminate the components of Algerian society.
