The cultural heritage in Algeria takes different forms, both material (movable and immovable) and immaterial.

therefore, this research paper will address the immaterial cultural heritage, which is represented in traditional industries in the region of Beni Maouche-Bejaia, where the carpet industry is a type of traditional mattress that is woven on a vertical loom, which is made of colored wool threads on the one hand and on the other hand, the local traditional carpet industry consists of colors and motifs (decorations) to form symbols, that we also find used in clothing, jewelry and local pottery, and they are often inspired by nature, so that its manufacture or weaving is carried out by local women, carrying with them social connotations to express their daily lives, and it also represents the collective memory that expresses the philosophy of life (popular customs and traditions), as it reflects the image of their distinguished work expressing their own ideas, fantasies, and pictorial language of art, noting that this type of studies requires theoretical and field studies to reach scientific conclusions that serve the subject.
