The semio-rhetorical approach of caricature is based on the extraction of different strategies of meaning, persuasion and argumentation.
Thus, in this article, we proceed to a double analysis of four caricatures of Ali Dilem of the daily LIBERTY during the month of Ramadhan.
Taking into account the different elements (figures of rhetoric, linguistic and iconographic and sociocultural codes), we say that the cartoonist aims to influence his readers and tries to convey a self-image that conforms to their expectations.
This image called "ethos".

L'approche sémio-rhétorique de la caricature repose sur l'extraction de différentes stratégies de sens, de persuasion et d'argumentation.
De la sorte, dans cet article, nous procédons à une double analyse de quatre caricatures d'Ali Dilem du quotidien LIBERTE en période de mois de ramadhan.
Tenant compte des différents éléments (figures de la rhétorique, codes linguistiques et iconographiques et socioculturels), nous disons que le caricaturiste vise à influencer ses lecteurs et tente de transmettre une image de soi qui se conforme à leurs attentes.
Cette image appelée « ethos ».
