نحاول من خلال هذا المقال تسليط الضوء على الدور الذي لعبته الأقليات الدينية المسيحية الشرقية، في تذليلها للصعوبات التي واجهت الحملة الصليبية الأولى -حملة الأمراء-على المشرق الإسلامي، وذلك باعتبار هذه الطوائف فاعلا مهما في مسببات نجاح هذه الحملة، بداية بتوزيعها الجغرافي المميز و الاستراتيجي و واقعها السياسي و الإجتماعي المضطرب، إضافة إلى الواجب الديني اتجاه المسيحيين اللاتين إخوة الدين.
وواقع الأمر، أن الدعم المسيحي الشرقي للصليبيين تفاوت من طائفة لأخرى، فقد بدأ مع الملكانيين البيزنطيين مرورا بالأرمن و انتهاء بالموارنة، كما انه تنوع ما بين دعم مادي لوجيستي-عسكري، و دعم روحي-نفسي
Abstract EN
Through this article, we try to highlight the role played by the Eastern Christian religious minorities in overcoming the difficulties faced by the first crusade, the princes' campaign, against the Islamic orient.
These sects are considered an important actor in the causes of the success of this campaign, starting with their distinguished geographical distribution, strategic distribution, their troubled political and social reality, in addition to their religious duty towards the Christians who were brothers of yesterday.
In fact, Eastern Christian support for the crusaders varied from one sect to the next, beginning with the Byzantine monarchs (Melkits) through Armenians and ending with the Maronites, and varying from material, logistical, and psychological support.
