Abstract EN

In view of the huge amount of technologies that companies offer in the global markets, and in light of the high costs of their acquisition and use and their complex restrictive clauses it is thus incumbent upon the oil companies wishing to modernize their technological level, each according to their field of activity to conduct a process of evaluating investments in technology so as to determine the optimal option for them under the restrictions of reducing costs and maximizing profits.

Where the oil-producing countries suffer from the fact that the performance of foreign companies operating on their soil lacks a real technology transfer.

Therefore, this study seeks to identify to what extent oil legislation and contracts emanating from it can be an inexpensive, effective and real means of technology transfer.
