Within this research paper, we address the issue of modernization and renewal of the Algerian health system through the participatory approach and the contractual system for financing the health sector, based on a problem: Does the adoption of the participatory approach and the contractual system lead to the development of the Algerian health sector and the quality of its health services? And the study concluded that, indeed, and in light of the modern strategy for conducting and managing health work according to a new vision based on decentralization and participation in decision-making while adopting collective work to spread health awareness and oversight in parallel with attracting private sector resources and pairing between institutions Public and private health, it is possible to modernize the health system.
