The present research paper aims to shed light on the context.

the latter is considered the most important pillar of pragmatics, moreover, the absence or neglect of the context when reading and analysing the prophetic hadiths would lead to distortion and misunderstanding, and even distortion of the intended meanings and connotations.

furthermore, the Islamic nation is still suffering from this dilemma till this day.

some groups and currents emerged that resorted to the apparent meaning of the hadith, and adhered to its literalism, without the slightest consideration of the context in which the hadith was mentioned alongside the different dimensions and circumstances that surrounded it.

based on the aforementioned, in this article, we will attempt to shed light on some of the hadiths of the prophet PBUH, the meanings and purposes of which have been misrepresented.

as a result of the exclusion and isolation of context in the process of reading and comprehension.
