Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the requirements for developing the performance of education managers in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in light of the dimensions of strategic thinking.

in the current study, the researcher used the descriptive method of data collection to suit the nature of the study.

the sample consists of experts from the general secretariat of the education departments, which number (20) experts.

the results concluded that one of the most important requirements for development is the presence of accumulated academic and scientific administrative and pedagogical experience, and the ability to scientifically analyze administrative positions.

the ability to make strategic and emergency decisions.

the high ability to act in ambiguous administrative situations, the development of the ability to be familiar with the details of administrative and pedagogical work.

as well as having extensive relationships with stakeholders from the community.

and continuous follow-up of novelties and changes in the external and internal environment.

as well as higher academic preparation in the field of management, planning and supervision.
